Morgan Havard - Youth Group Leader

Howdy! My name is Morgan Shimanek, I am so lucky to be married to Blake Shimanek. We are the youth leaders for CCTC and currently live in Keller. I graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2011 with a major in Education. It was while attending A&M that I first went to a cowboy church, after my first visit I fell in love! After moving back to Keller I was so excited to find out CCTC had recently started and have fallen in love with it over the past few months! I am so excited to be the youth leader, it has been an awesome experience so far and I know more fun, excitement and learning is to come! I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior when I was about 9 years old but through out my college career I developed a much deeper and more personal relationship with Him. He helped me through every bump and put the most amazing and influential people in my life! I can’t wait to be used by him to spread His word and love.

I have two quarter horses, Diamond and Sundance, who I ride for pleasure and work alongside to teach kids to ride in lessons and summer camps! I love riding and being in nature in general!  I also have a German Sheppard, Shasta who is the most loyal companion I have ever had! I would like to be a kindergarten or first grade teacher in the fall, currently I am waiting to see where God leads me and what job He would like me to take.
